S-Cape Emergency Evacuation Training

S-Cape is a method used for the evacuation from an offshore installation by an individual as a last resort when conventional means of escape are no longer available. The S-Cape device allows for the controlled descent by way of harness and rope access equipment.
S-Cape forms part of the mandatory safety qualification requirements of almost every offshore operator in the Southern North Sea (SNS) Sector.
