GEV Offshore supply manpower for Galloper Wind Farm assembly
GEV Offshore supply 15 personnel to work on turbine assembly for Galloper at their base in Great Yarmouth.
With GEV Offshore expanding into the renewables sector, we have successfully supplied essential manpower to work at Galloper's assembly base in Great Yarmouth. We have placed 15 skilled labourers including Painters, Electricians & Riggers for the Galloper projects which will deliver 336MW of clean energy by 2018.
We hold one of the most extensive databases of skilled energy sector workers in the UK and benefit from HR and logistics personnel who have organised crews to undertake work in the UKCS over the past 25 years. Read more about our services.
The Galloper project will be fully operational in 2018, generating enough power for up to 380,700 homes. Around 700 UK jobs are being created during the construction of the wind farm, and 90 long-term east coast jobs will be created, once it is operational.
